Description of the excursion.
Thanks to its unique location - in a necklace of emerald blue mountains with snow-capped peaks of the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains. Almaty is a true pearl of Kazakhstan, an international tourist center. During the excursion you can visit:
Republic Square is the main square of the city - the venue for festive processions, celebrations, holidays, parades, and folk festivals. In the center of the square in 1996, the Independence Monument was erected, which is an 18-meter obelisk, which is crowned with the figure of a Saka warrior - an exact copy of the “Golden Warrior” with a winged leopard running next to it.
The entire complex of the monument tells the story of the main, epoch-making events in the history of Kazakhstan. Park named after 28 Panfilov heroes.
There are three unique objects in the park. The first is the Cathedral - a monument of wooden architecture, built in 1904-1907 according to the design of the architect A.P. Zenkov. The second is the Memorial of Glory, built in 1975 for the 30th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Climb to the Kok-Tobe observation deck - this park is located on the top of the mountain. The cable station at the foot of the mountains is located next to Abay Square and the Palace of the Republic, surrounded by fountains and surrounded by greenery. Six minutes of ecstatic flight in a cable car cabin, and you are at the top of Mount Kok Tobe, one of the symbols of Almaty. "Kok Tobe" is a mountain park with a mini-zoo, restaurants, attractions and souvenir shops, surrounding the Almaty TV tower.
